Who We Are
A sinter plant’s content includes fine materials such as iron ore fines, coke fines (fuel), and flux (limestone), along with recycled waste materials from steel produc-tion, like flue dust and mill scale.
These materials are mixed with water and binders to form a mix called “feed-sinter”. The sintering process then agglomerates these fines into a porous, consistent mass called sinter, which is used in a blast furnace to pro-duce iron more efficiently.
